All About Me

Well HELLO there!  I am the one and only Mrs. Starr Phippen and I hail from the grand state of Arizona where we like it HOT, HOT, HOT!  This year will be my eleventh year teaching first grade.  I love the littles and their smiles, enthusiasm and honesty about life. I truly feel honored to spend my days in such great company. 

When I'm not playing the role of Teacher I am wife to my love Mr. Phippen, momma to three incredible children whom I affectionately dub JoJo Wonderboy (9), Lady Lovebug (7), and Little Man (3), as well as the rustler of two Dachshund divas Ginger Kay and Dottie Lou.  My free time adventures with my personal people usually include camping, swimming, reading, traveling, playing, creating, and watching movies.

If you were to follow me around on a typical day you may catch me doing one, or all, of the following things...

• Sipping on a Sonic Diet Coke with limes in it (You put the lime in the Coke you nut)
• Sitting in my classroom sniffing smelly markers (This may be my teacher happy place)
• Singing random songs (I may have watched a bit too many musicals growing up)
• Doodling silly little pictures (Yes hello my name is Starr, and I like to do drarings)
• Finding something to smile about (Like Buddy the Elf, smiling is my favorite)
